Goal $10,000
Join us! We are celebrating our grand opening by doing what Durham does best, rallying around our community and getting involved!
During our opening month, Beyú Caffé—The Official Coffee of the Durham Performing Arts Center and the Carolina Theatre—will donate 100% of all proceeds from retail coffee bean purchases to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle organization for youth!
Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentors and their “Littles” will sell a variety of coffee beans packaged in 10-ounce bags for $10.00 (tax included) during the month of November. 100% of the profits will go to BBBST. The soft benefits to the “Littles” are in the form of life skills like planning, decision-making, and customer service.
In 2005, the owner of Beyú Caffé started with an idea and no money to make his concept a reality. Four years later, Dorian Bolden has raised over $500,000 to open his business during one of the worst economies in history. Dorian has been very fortunate to have mentors assist him throughout life, and has enjoyed volunteering as a “Big” with BBBS of the Triangle during the past 4 years while transforming his dream into a reality. This community service fundraiser is the first way to give back and say thank you!
